Broward County School District Project Cost Estimation
Zabik & Associates was selected for continuing contract work with the Broward School District. We successfully completed over 160 cost estimating tasks for the Broward School District. Tasks included: review of contract change orders, review and approval of small construction building cost estimates, assistance with CM at Risk bid tab evaluation and new school project estimating. All projects were completed within the assigned times and meeting the requirements of the various project managers. In addition, we assisted with cost estimating efforts related to development of the District’s Five Year Capital Plan.
Park Vista, Jupiter, John I. Leonard High School & Forest Hill Elementary School
We served as MPA Architect’s contract and construction administrator for the three high schools and one elementary school. In this role we were responsible for reviewing all project change orders and project cost estimating.
Private Dog Kennel
As a private owners’ representative for a new dog kennel to be constructed on the west coast of Florida, we performed a plan review and made recommendations on revisions to be made to the construction drawings.
Royal Concrete Modular Classrooms
We served as Royal Concrete’s site manager responsible for siting the modular units, planning the installations and cost estimating the modular unit and utility installation.
School District of Palm Beach County Cost Estimation
Zabik and Associates was selected for continuing contract work with the School District of Palm Beach County. We successfully completed over 2,000 building cost estimates for the District. Tasks primarily included: review of contract change orders and assistance with new school and school addition cost estimating evaluations, and new school project cost estimation. All projects were completed within the assigned times. In addition, we assisted with cost estimating efforts related to updates of the District’s Five Year Capital Plan.
School District of Palm Beach County Project Cost Estimation, FEMA
We completed multiple building cost estimates (task orders) in support of the Palm Beach School District’s FEMA claim after the 2005 hurricanes. We were successful in establishing standard rates and unit prices for damage to the Districts facilities thus streamlining the FEMA paperwork application process.
Town of Lake Clarke Shores, Police Headquarters
We completed a change order review for the Lake Clarke Shores Police Headquarters renovation project to ensure that change orders were appropriate and priced properly.
